[John 19:17-22]
God
is the King of Kings.
He
appeared in the world to fulfill the Scripture (John 17:12).
Before He came, He was announced by the Prophets (John 1:23).
Israel’s hope is to wait for the Messiah (John 4:25).
‘Messiah’ refers to ‘Christ’. They waited for a king like David (Matt 22:41-46).
When He came, Israel thought they would see glory again (Acts 1:6-8).
Israel’s hope was to earnestly wait
for a theocratic age to come (Matt 2:1-12).
It would be like King David conquering the kings of the world
and establishing a 40-year period of peace.
They waited for the descendant of David,
but Jesus Christ became Lord over David.
He rules over all kings (1Tim 6:15-16).
When the time came, He hung on the cross (Matt 16:21).
It was written above His cross, ‘the King of the Jews is dead.’
The dream of Israel died,
but mankind’s hope appeared.
Jesus is not just the Messiah of Israel,
He is the Christ for all mankind.
According to Scripture, He came from the Jews (John 4:22).
○ The Holy Spirit testifies to this.
Christians who are saved also testify.
○ Do not try to fulfill worldly dreams through Jesus.
We should receive glory in heaven with Jesus.
The person who believes in Jesus buries worldly dreams in baptism.
○ Our hope is in Eternal Life.
Our Lord will come soon.
We will all become His Bride at the Resurrection of life.
※ Hold firmly to the hope of the Resurrection. Do not let go.
Let us be more diligent as this Day approaches.
The Day of the Lord is a Holy Day. Let us remember it and keep it.

The Church has been purchased by the blood of God. When it suffers pain, it means our Lord Jesus Christ personally suffers pain. People think God is silent, so they doubt Him and lose their footing. I do not agree with this one bit. In Old Testament times, when anyone opposed the Law, they were immediately punished in their flesh. The Law was their model of faith. The Law is the Law for the flesh. In New Testament times, God’s truth and grace are not like the Law of the flesh. We deal with a spiritual model, so spirits are punished as soon as they oppose it. ① Those who do not believe in Jesus Christ have already been judged. The spirit has been judged and abandoned by God. The moment the flesh dies, the spirit will become a demon and roam in Hades. The spirit will then be thrown in the Abyss to await the fire of hell. When the Lord Jesus comes to bring saints to the First Resurrection, these former spirits will be thrown in sulfuric fire. These spirits stand with the ranks of demon. They do evil deeds and speak atrocious language. They oppose and curse God, they condemn and cause division. They love unrighteousness and delight in worldly ways of speaking. They persecute the Church purchased by God’s blood. Though their spirits are still in the flesh, they are abandoned by God and do the wicked deeds of demons. ② If they oppose Jesus and test the Holy Spirit, they will be taken away from their bodies. They will be saved but without a resurrection. They will barely be saved from the flames. ③ Not only this, if they depart from God’s grace and hold stubbornly to the Law that condemns the flesh, they lose the glory of the First Resurrection. They receive the judgement of those who sin willfully. People think God is taking no action. But He never rests and sleeps. He dwells with the saints. I have worked in the presence of God’s flaming eyes my whole life. Due to fleshly weakness, harsh trials have come. But I breathe new breath through the Spirit of God’s grace and through the power of Jesus’ blood. I know this is victory. Dear saints! God knows the painful trials you are suffering. He will not leave you as orphans. I say this again: ① Those who do not believe in Jesus have already been judged. Though they are alive, all they do are the deeds of demons. ② For those who sin deliberately – they will be divided into groups and judged. This will prevent them going straight to paradise. Our God continues to work night and day. Amen. Semuon, 27th October 2019
