2017.11.12_Abide in the Love of Jesus
in 2017 Lord's Day[John 15:1~10]
God
is love.
He
loved the world that He bestowed His grace on mankind (Ep 2:12-13),
shedding His blood for them to drink (Ac 20:28).
Do you have God’s blood in you?
By faith we can drink His blood (Jn 6:53).
Whoever drinks His blood is set free from sin (Mk 14:24)
and justified (Rm 8:33).
Do not seek to be justified by works.
We must be justified by faith to have life (Mt 5:20).
A righteous man displays the nature of righteousness (Jn 15:9),
which is love (Jn 15:10).
Love is God’s nature (1 Jn 4:8);
it is His grace (Jn 1:14).
God’s love was that He laid down His life for His sheep (Jn 10:11).
Likewise, we ought to love one another
and lay down our lives.
It is true love when we can give up our honor,
wealth, body, heart and even life.
◌ The one who does not love
has not yet come into Jesus.
Only the one who loves
abides in Jesus and has everlasting life.
◌ Let us love. Let us love one another.
Religious people cannot love.
Only the man of the Holy Spirit can love.
◌ We are men of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit dwells and works inside us.
※ We have faith
when we are filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
That must be so in any case.
Our souls must be filled with the love of God.

I write this letter of appreciation to the Sungrak Elders Union and the Love Committee saints who love the Church. The Lord said, “When I was hungry, when I was thirsty, when I was a stranger, when I was naked, when I was sick, when I was in prison, you came to help me” (Matthew 25:35-36). Therefore, to the Lord who says, “Come, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”, let us shout out, “Lord, we are unworthy servants. We have only done what was our duty to do!” Instead of boasting, let us rather shout out to him, “I love you all the more!” He wore the crown of thorns, shed His blood, and died. But God raised Him up. The Lord Jesus Christ, who is now in heaven, will wipe away the tears of the saints. The Lord knows the saints who shed their tears, sweat and blood with Him, and will give them great comfort and strength. Who will carry the cross of the Lord on His behalf all the way to Golgotha just like Simon of Cyrene did? With their true faith and true love, the Sungrak people are endeavoring to lessen the heavy weight of the cross of Jesus Christ as did Simon of Cyrene. My beloved Sungrak people, you willingly loving the Church and are protecting it night and day. You have also determined to offer your dedication. Who is it that is at work within you, if not the Holy Spirit? Who can stop you? Can the world stop you? Can the devil stop you? We know what victory is. We know that truth and righteousness will triumph. We are the saints who are living our spiritual lives with the power of the living God, the power of the Son of Man and the power of the Holy Spirit. Your spirit of voluntary service is true faith. The Law preaches obedience, but the truth preaches faith. Faith is to believe and then act, being full of the desire to willingly volunteer. You are not just beating the air, but you are doing the works that the Lord Himself accepts. You are not doing this by your emotions, but by the support of the Holy Spirit. I pray that the work of the Holy Spirit will be made manifest not just to you, but to all your families, so that you will truly all be God’s possession. For this purpose, it is my hope that the eternal flame of love for the Church will continue to burn in the members of the Sungrak Elders Union and the Love Committee. The Church has until now suffered many wounds, but those wounds have quickly been healed. This is owed to your faith, love and prayers. Let us combine our strength, rebuild the Church, and be a great model for the world. Please take care in the cold weather, and let us zealously, zealously work for the Lord. [gmedia id = 82]
