Power

(Ephesians 3:14-16)

“Is Paul calling himself a servant of the Lord, yet he’s in prison? What’s happening with him? Is he just going to fail like that? How can he speak of glory and heaven while he’s imprisoned? Does he genuinely know what he’s talking about?”

1. The Power That Has Already Been Biven To Me

God’s power is abundantly permitted to anyone who dwells in Christ. Nevertheless, many Christians fail to be strengthened by God’s power. This is not because God’s power has not come upon them, but because they have not recognized His power that has already come upon them. What they need is to activate the power that God has already granted to them.

2. God Offered Himself

The power that raised Jesus Christ to life from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places has come upon us within Christ. The power is inseparable from God’s glory, which is His very nature and personality itself. Therefore, when we say that God has granted us His power, it is the same as saying that He has given Himself to us. God has granted us something so precious; if we assert that we possess nothing, what would indeed be God’s heart toward us?

3. Proportionally According to The Riches of God’s Glory

Let us not remain confined by our limitations, but instead, acknowledge His power that has already been granted to us in Christ. God will strengthen us with the measure of Christ’s gift, according to His riches of glory. Let us not be disheartened as if we have nothing but boldly recognize the abundant spiritual blessing that has come upon us. Rather than being discouraged by our perceived lack of power, let us experience the riches of God’s glory that strengthen us.
