Ephesians 5:15-21

Redeem the Time
(Ephesians 5:15-21)

God
lives eternally.
He
sent His Son into the world (Jn 3:16)
so it can gain eternal life (Jn 6:40).
He gave mankind and all creation their lives (Heb 9:27).
Life quickly fades like passing time (Ecc 1:3-11).
Time does not wait for anyone.
The flesh is like a candle used for your spirit.
If the candle melts down, the flame naturally goes out.
As the Lord Jesus shed blood for our spirits (1 Cor 11:23-29)
– if anyone has hope in eternal life –
they must struggle against unrighteousness until bloodshed (Heb 12:4),
redeem the time, and submit to and please God.
Eternal life is gained by grace, and rewards are for the flesh’s labor (Heb 11:6).
As everyone has each received a talent, (Mt 25:14-30)
they must do their work and finally be martyred (Rev 20:4-6).
Do not belong to the world and be foolish (Jn 8:44-45),
but understand what the Lord’s will is (Rom 12:2).
Belong to God, do not forget holiness, (1 Pet 1:15-16)
and be guided by the Holy Spirit (Jn 3:8).
〇 God’s command is given to the church.
Obeying and submitting to each other in church is holiness.
Our brothers and sisters are like the Lord’s commands.
〇 If you obsess about worldly things and cannot live by grace,
your time will end on a day you do not know.
Let’s be humble, godly and wait for eternal life.
〇 Hearing the Lord’s word is faith.
Religious people are not born again and heap their virtue,
but they cannot be comforted on the day of eternal life.
※ Do not blame the times, which flee like the wind.
You must live by the Holy Spirit and be spiritual.
Let’s all keep faithfulness like “a Pine, Bamboo and Rock”.
