God
dwells in heaven.
He
set heaven as His temple and fulfilled His own will.
In the same way,
He desires to fulfill His will on earth through Jesus (Mt 6:10).
Jesus is the true Image of heaven.
He said His coming was the kingdom of heaven coming near (Mt 4:17).
Jesus came to the world to precisely fulfill God’s will
which was fulfilled on heaven. If your spirit dwells in Him
when you are baptized (Acts 1:4-5),
you belong to heaven (1 Jn 4:5-6).
When Jesus sets up His church,
He sets up His body (Eph 1:18-23).
The church is His body
and Jesus is the Head of the church.
The church of Jesus Christ stands on the rock of our faith confession.
It stands on the rock of faith that
He is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Mt 16:14-17).
Only the church of Jesus overcomes the authority of darkness (known as Hades)
and participates in the Resurrection.
We received the keys of heaven while on earth (Jn 1:12).
○ No one can acknowledge Jesus is Lord
except by the Holy Spirit.
This is why He told no one to say it until the Holy Spirit came.
○ Without the Holy Spirit, our faith confession is a religious ritual
and you cannot gain authority as God’s children.
○ The question, “Who do they say Jesus is?” is important.
Faith confession is not an assertion coming from your conviction,
but it is listening to and believing God’s word.
※ Do not misunderstand conviction for faith
and only believe and obey the Lord’s Gospel.
You must confess by the Holy Spirit!
