June 13, 2021 Lord’s Day Service

Do not be Afraid. Only Believe.

(Mark 5:35-43)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the Almighty.
He
sent His Son in order to save the world (Jn 3:16),
and the Son is the Word who became flesh (Jn 1:14).
The Son created all things with the Father (Jn 1:2)
and received all authority in heaven and on earth (Mt 28:18-20).
Nothing is impossible for Jesus (Jn 11:40).
He saves all the sick and those who are dead (Mt 8:7-8),
for this is the meaning of Jesus’ name. It is perfect salvation (Acts 2:38-39).
Worldly people trust in conviction, get their fortunes told (1 Sam 28:7),
blindly believe in science and make themselves into slaves.
The world is changing all the time (Mt 24:35).
It has no eternal promise.
However,
since God is eternal, His word is an eternal promise (Rev 21:5-7).
Do not be afraid of God (Mk 5:36)
and do not be afraid of worldly matters (Mk 4:40).
Believing the Lord Jesus is life (Jn 14:6).
There is no covenant more perfect and flawless than this.
He who became the Son of Man hung on the tree, died
and was raised again after three days. This is the proof (Jn 20:19-23).
○ Coming to Jesus with doubts is dead faith.
You must entrust your life to faith.
○ Believing is not to doubt in any circumstance
and walk your whole life by faith.
The Lord (who lives forever) protects this faith.
○ There is no large or small problem before God’s power.
God’s eternal power is in heaven.
When we received faith, we received power.
※ Do not be afraid of demons.
Do not be afraid of hardships.
Entrust your spirit, soul and body to the Lord.
