Do not Desert Jesus

(Mark 14:43-52)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is impartial Justice.
He is self-existing
and He is the beginning and the end (Rev 21:6-7).
Therefore, God is the One and Only
who has no place to hide or place to run,
and He cannot deny Himself.
Consequently,
He swore by Himself regarding what He said (Heb 6:13)
and He is absolutely flawless.
Jesus is the true image of the Father’s Person (2 Cor 4:4).
When mankind parted from God, they had left Him (Gen 3:9-13).
Consider how weak and crafty mankind is!
This is why He revealed the truth called ‘faith’. Faith is the truth (Jn 8:32).
The words ‘Lord, do not leave me’ is a contradiction.
People leave because they do as they please.
God always stays where He is (Jn 14:16).
This place is heaven. Heaven is the reality and throne (Ps 89:13-14).
‘When good cheer is lacking, our friends will be packing.’ This is mankind’s attribute.
Do not resent God. This means you become corrupt.
The Holy Spirit dwells with us. God’s Word and name also dwells with us (Jn 1:12).
○ Judas Iscariot was a devil and an informant.
The other disciples were traitors and fools.
If you desert and leave Jesus, you welcome the devil and death.
○ When someone dies, they should die in the Lord’s bosom to be saved
and the Holy Spirit will forever keep them.
Fear and disgraceful conduct are the devil’s attributes.
○ Whether you are young, mature or old,
remain in Jesus so that you can live in Him.
The devil is the divider. He divides and makes people desert their Master.
※ Do not flee and fall into temptation.
God eternally stays where He is. Do not become corrupt
even in your heart or thoughts – like the pine, bamboo, and rock.
