Do Not Sell Jesus

(Mark 14:43-50)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the eternal Father.
He sent Jesus Christ as the Word (Jn 1:14)
to save the world (Jn 3:16).
This was to take saved souls into heaven (Jn 14:1-3).
When God sent His Son to the world,
He did not send Him to a palace or wealthy household,
but sent Him as the Nazarene.
He came to the lowest, most neglected and abandoned place (Mt 2:23).
God’s Word, that is, the truth started from the lowest place
and was preached to all mankind (Mt 11:2-6).
God choses the humble and opposes the proud.
For this, He became a friend of sinners (1 Pet 5:5-6).
Though Judas Iscariot accepted the Lord, he did not know Him.
Though he saw great miracles, he did not see the Resurrection.
Judas regarded conscience as more important than faith.
Instead of seeking Jesus, he was oppressed by conscience and killed himself.
Though they say they are believers,
double minded people are like Judas Iscariot.
Outside the church, they befriend the world.
Inside the church, they kiss the Lord’s cheek (Jn 6:70-71).
〇 Those who claim to keep conscience but do not keep faith
are religious and take no sides.
They only have their own righteousness.
〇 The person who belongs neither to God nor the world,
and sells Jesus and kisses Him is a devil.
The Holy Spirit guides you only to follow the truth.
〇 Please do not become religious.
If you become religious like Judas Iscariot,
you will be oppressed by conscience and not fulfill your faith.
※ Do not kiss Jesus and then compromise with the world.
Such deeds are devilish. They will later be forsaken.
Let’s lean towards faith, be baptized, and become spiritual.
