Fight Against Sin Until You Shed Blood

(Hebrews 12:1-13)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is righteous.
As He
discerns good and evil, He does not forgive unrighteousness
and judges to eternally destroy (Heb 10:30-31).
God set His will by His own righteousness (Mt 3:15)
and sent His Son (who is in His bosom) to the world.
Jesus Christ appeared to fulfill
the Father’s will (Jn 1:18).
God’s will was revealed by His name (Mt 1:21) –
it was to save His people from sin.
The universe, known as Hades, is where the corrupt angel is confined (2 Pet 2:4).
The last punishment is the lake of fire (Rev 20:13-14).
Hades, known as the universe, has no life or hope.
The present master of Hades is the devil, known as ‘Beelzebub’.
‘Beelzebub’ means owner of the dung house (Mt 12:24).
The Lord Jesus’ Gospel
tells us to come out of Hades.
This is the authorized command to escape the dung house (Mt 4:17).
Jesus is the Christ who opened Hades’ gate and resurrected.
He became the door of salvation and door to heaven (Mt 16:17-18).
〇 Jesus’ blood is the door to heaven. It is life (Jn 10:9).
The Holy Spirit enables those who are saved to enter the door.
There is no other name under heaven by which mankind is saved.
〇 We trust in His name, unite with the resurrected Lord,
and enter God’s Kingdom and eternal life.
Living by the Holy Spirit is walking on this path.
〇 There is only one door which brings you from hades to eternal life.
This is baptism.
Baptism is the unique right to unite with Christ.
※ If you are baptized in the Holy Spirit’s name, you become spiritual.
To be like this, you must fight against sin again and again
until you shed blood and have victory (Heb 12:4).
