Jesus is the Gate for the Sheep
(John 10:7-18)
Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim
God
is love.
He
sent His Son to the world for Him to become
its Savior (Jn 6:39-40).
Jesus has a responsibility to save the world (Jn 10:15-18).
Heaven is not a void but a spirit. It is real like crystal.
God is limitlessly greater than the universe and is eternal (Jn 10:29).
The universe is a void, so it is empty and dark (Gen 1:2).
The universe is where the authority of death is.
It is spiritual despair (Eph 2:1-3).
Therefore, the spirit died and awaits judgment and punishment (Rev 20:12-15).
Jesus received the command to save us (Jn 10:38-39).
It was to die on our behalf (Mt 20:28)
and save us from the authority of hades, that is, the universe.
When we are saved, our spirits
are conveyed to heaven (Eph 2:4-9).
Through baptism, we step out of hades
and belong to the spirit and to heaven (Acts 19:2-7).
There is only one gate to enter heaven (Jn 10:7).
This is Jesus Christ.
So Jesus is called ‘the Mediator’ (Heb 8:6).
〇 Baptism is repenting to gain life. It is to become holy
and be conveyed from hades to enter heaven.
〇 If you go beyond Jesus and receive heaven’s grace,
you are treated as a thief and robber in heaven.
You can only enter by God’s righteousness.
〇 The Lord died by hanging on the cross and being rejected.
This is the gate to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Baptism is the spiritual experience of entering the gate to the kingdom.
※ You cannot enter the kingdom by your material wealth.
You also cannot enter with your own accumulated merit.
You can only fully enter through Jesus Christ.
