Jesus and the Five Loaves and Two Fish

(Mark 6:34-44)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the Almighty.
He
gives life to the dead and (Jn 14:13-14)
calls those things which do not exist as though they did.
He came to the world as the One equal with God (Phi 2:6-7).
He always taught the word of eternal life (Jn 6:68),
but He knew the weakness of the flesh and bore it Himself (1 Pet 2:24).
So that the countless people following Him would not get hungry,
He resolved what they should eat.
However, this was a one-time incident.
Jesus came for mankind’s spirit (Jn 6:40).
However,
everything is possible for Him (Mk 9:23).
He performed His own miraculous powers
when man was unable, even though they tried (Jn 11:40).
This was so He could give a great sign to those who
believed and followed Him.
The disciples obeyed as the Lord directed them
and kept the congregation in order (Mk 6:39-40).
Afterwards, they handed out the bread
and fed five thousand in an instant, besides women and children.
And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments that remained.
○ Jesus’ power and signs are not a legend.
This is His power and authority, which works even today (Mk 16:20).
○ Our faith must save the spirit and
gain ‘the inspiration of the five loaves and two fish’ while we are in the flesh.
○ God the Father knows what we need to use.
We must ask by faith, not doubt and obey.
Jesus is the same yesterday and today.
※ Our faith is not to miss antiques that have gone by.
He takes responsibility for our life, death, curses and blessings until the end.
Trust in the power of living Lord! Trust in it! (Mt 28:20)
