Listen to Jesus’ Warning

(Matthew 12:38-45)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is always blessed.
He
placed this blessing in heaven (the spiritual world) in fullness.
If there is God’s blessing, He is pleased.
Jesus is the Father’s blessing (Mt 3:17).
The difference between heaven (the spiritual world) and the universe (called ‘Hades’)
is that heaven is full of blessing and has no darkness
whilst the universe (called ‘Hades’) has both halves of light and darkness (Gen 1:4-5).
The world can be joyful for a while and be unhappy again.
The authority of darkness always threatens it (Eph 6:10-11).
Since we received grace (Acts 13:43),
God’s Kingdom is within us
and we are children of the light (1 Thess 5:5).
This is why we must receive the Holy Spirit and always be filled with Him.
Demons stay in humans
and are only driven out by the Holy Spirit (Mt 12:28).
If demons depart from the body, you are blessed.
This is God’s Kingdom.
But if you are not full of the Holy Spirit, the trouble will be
seven times greater than before. Corruption is truly dreadful (Heb 10:26-31).
○ If you drive out demons by the Holy Spirit,
you must strive to pray so that demons do not return
and so you always have God’s Kingdom.
○ This is why demons return:
the Holy Spirit is not the master
and the house is empty and well repaired.
○ Demons seek their past ways as when they lived without faith.
If you receive grace yet do not stand by the truth,
the demon will come with seven more wicked ones than itself.
※ “Be joyful always” means to always be blessed.
This is solely fullness of the Holy Spirit. Fullness is when you pray continually.
God’s Kingdom is not in words but in power.
