What is the truth? Jesus had personally spoken by His word, saying, “I am the truth” (John 14:6). This was the word that Jesus had spoken by the Holy Spirit. The Only One who knows that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is the Christ, is God Himself. So, if one is not inspired with the Holy Spirit, one will never know that Jesus is the Son of God.

There have been many people who have lived on the earth since the beginning of time, but none of them was known as the Son of God. Only the Virgin Mary, who was married to the Nazarene Joseph, knew that Jesus was the Son of God. It was God who had ever revealed that Jesus was the Son of God (Matthew 16:16-17).

There is no way to scientifically verify that Jesus is the Son of God. And there is no theoretical method to explain that Jesus is the Son of God. This is knowledge that is only received by the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who is the One that has received authority from God. Therefore, it is not possible for a theologian to academically prove that Jesus is the Son of God. Theology is an academic science. Theology has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit. The word which is inspired is what we call the truth. The truth is the word of the Holy Spirit. The Bible cannot be interpreted by the reason of man or by any fabricated philosophy – no theory can be the basis of the interpretation of the Bible. This will only result in factual knowledge. This is merely the thought of man, and it is not the truth.

The members of today’s churches confuse the words and terminologies of the world with the truth. Thus, they give great confusion to their own souls. The truth is the word of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge of Jesus can only be received by authority of the Holy Spirit (John 15:26). So even if John the Baptist testified to Jesus, this was the testimony that was referred to as ‘a candle that burned for a short time’ – Jesus did not accept the testimony of man (John 5:31-35). Jesus Himself made this clear when He proclaimed by His word, “Yet I do not receive testimony from man”. He declared that the One that testifies to Him is the Holy Spirit.

The religious ideas or parables produced by man and then propagated cannot be successful. Regardless of whether one learns the Bible from a famous theologian and intellectual, it must be done by the authority of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). God did not send the Holy Spirit as if the Holy Spirit did not have any purposeful work. God sent the Holy Spirit for a very particular purpose (John 16:26).

My beloved Sungrak people, we must not be deceived at all by anyone. I have for my whole life, and from the very beginning, worked only by the Holy Spirit. I have known Jesus by the Holy Spirit, and I have taught and testified by the Holy Spirit. There may not be many more years to my life. But if the Lord calls me home, I am most ready to go. I am a man who no longer has any desires or regrets in this world. I am a man that has truly loved my own soul. I speak with my own lips the word of the Holy Spirit and this word is the truth. I will speak it once again – Return to the Word Berea is a movement that testifies only to the truth. Our church will eternally walk with the Holy Spirit to the very end to the age.
