The Authority to Forgive Sins

(Mark 2:1-12)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is impartial justice.
He
created everything in the world,
but created them according to God’s will (Heb 11:3)
and made them act according to God’s will (Mk 6:10-13).
Opposing God’s will is evil (Rom 12:1-2)
and God’s will is done through His impartial justice.
Even God’s Son submitted before impartial justice (Jn 6:38-40)
and came to the world to die on the cross (Phil 2:6-8).
Jesus received such a command (Jn 10:17-18)
to judge the world through Him (Jn 3:16-18).
Jesus Christ is righteousness (Jn 16:10).
Whoever believes in Him is justified (Rom 8:33-35),
and those who do not believe in Him are judged as unrighteous.
Therefore,
if the Lord Jesus forgives sins, they are forgiven (Mk 9:6).
This is decided when He sees faith (Mt 9:2).
Those who believe will be forgiven their sins.
As sin is reality, it is shown through retribution.
This is curse, sickness, and finally the fire of hell.
Do not ignore Jesus. You must believe in Him to live (Jn 11:25).
○ If you believe in Jesus, you are saved.
If you are saved, you are free in spirit and body.
○ Do not doubt Jesus.
He is God
and discerns good and evil.
○ The authority to forgive sins was not given to man
but it is the work of God’s Son.
He received all authority in heaven and earth.
※ To be free from all evil,
believe in Jesus and obey.
Salvation is reality, from the present to eternity.
