Testify that You are Saved

(Mark 1:40-45)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

No one
can see God.
Since He
is spirit, He cannot be discovered with fleshly eyes (Jn 1:18).
However,
He sent the Word so that we could hear Him (Mt 3:17),
and He appeared in the flesh and showed Himself (1 Jn 1:1).
God really exists (Ps 42:2).
Man is the likeness of God’s image (Gen 1:26-27),
and He is the image of God’s person (2 Cor 4:4).
Heaven is the spiritual world, and this place is full of God’s glory (Jn 4:23-24).
The Word dwelt in God from before the beginning (Jn 1:1)
and then came to the world by the Holy Spirit (Mt 1:20).
As the world saw a great sign by His coming (Lk 2:8-10),
the name ‘Jesus’ is salvation and healing (Mt 1:21, Mal 4:2).
Lepers at the time were symbols of curse.
But they were healed by the grace and power of Jesus.
Those who are saved must testify to this fact.
First, He told them to testify by offering the gift Moses commanded (Mt 8:4),
and second, He told them to testify by showing their bodies.
Then He told them to testify by the Holy Spirit (Jn 15:26-27).
○ Salvation is not an idea, but is fact and reality.
The grace of Jesus is fact and reality.
The work of the Holy Spirit is fact and reality.
○ Faith is fact and reality.
The kingdom of God is fact and reality.
Jesus’ power and signs are facts and reality.
○ The church is not a dead religion, but is a fact.
It is a fact and reality where the Holy Spirit works.
Therefore, we must testify to this truth.
※ We should testify to what we believe.
Since He said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”,
we must testify with all our hearts.
