The Lord Needs It

(Mark 11:1-10)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the Master of all things.
Since He
is Master, no one can oppose Him if He needs anything (Ps 100:3).
Mankind’s great weakness is the misunderstanding
that they are masters who own everything on earth (Mk 10:21).
There is only one Master, and He is the almighty Creator
and God.
God is the everlasting Being and Father.
Jesus came to do the Father’s will (Jn 6:37-40),
and He came as a command to do what God commanded Him (Jn 10:18).
As God’s Word is His command (Jn 12:47-50),
God’s command came in the flesh (Jn 1:14).
Therefore,
the places where Jesus stayed and went
revealed God’s command (Jn 8:21-23).
If the Lord says that He needs something, we cannot reject it (Mk 11:3).
Our faith is to understand this truth (Acts 17:23-25).
Even if you are powerless like this colt –
if the Lord says that He need you, you cannot reject it.
You should humbly bow before His name and submit by the Holy Spirit (Jn 3:8).
○ Let God use you.
Whether it be your life, children or possessions –
if the Lord says that He needs them, you should let Him use them.
○ If you confess “Master” with your mouth
but oppose Him by saying it belongs to you, this is unbelief.
You should ask instead, “Lord! Use me!”
○ Define whether God or you are the master.
The rich man could not enter heaven
because he acted like he was the master.
※ “Lord! Call to me!
Lord! Use me!
I have nothing in this world. It belongs to You alone.”
