The Church that Knows Love

(Ephesians 3:18-19)

The love of God is revealed through the works He has carried out for us. If we acknowledge having received this love, we should discover from various aspects what God has done for us and the sacrifices He has made in the process, and through this, we should realize this love.

1. The Fundamental Foundation of Faith
Christ’s love has a different origin from the love defined by the world. While worldly individuals may emphasize ethical virtues when speaking about love, Christ’s love originates differently. Therefore, if you are a Christian, you should never underestimate the importance of love. Knowing love is knowing Christ, and it is no different from knowing God.

2. The Area to Comprehend
All the saints of the church should comprehend and know the infinity of this love together. No one can know the width, length, depth, and height of this love alone in a private room. As we go through various challenges in an environment where we can practice the commandment to love one another, our comprehension of this love deepens. When we overcome many difficulties and make efforts to love one another, we can clearly discover the traces of God’s love that He has worked in every aspect of our lives.

3. The Environment to Preserve Saints
Love is God’s method of preserving those who are saved. Love possesses the opposite character of sin. Consequently, those who strive to love will gradually distance themselves from sinful habits. The Lord not only saved us legally but also established a protective mechanism for us to reach heaven, and the environment of love to which we belong is precisely that mechanism. The Lord’s love, which aims to rescue us from sin and lead us into the eternal kingdom, is still actively at work. Now, let us allow this love to be abundantly revealed through us.
