Do not Deny Jesus

(Mark 14:66-72)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the Alpha and the Omega.
He is the God who not only
protects Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in their lifetimes,
but protects their spirits (Mark 12:26).
He who protects the bodies of believers when they are alive
will protect them forever after their bodies die
for the resurrection and eternal life (Jn 11:25-26).
God is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End (Rev 22:13).
Our faith received a promise
that continues in this life until the resurrection (1 Cor 15:12-19).
It is believing an eternal covenant where you sow on earth and reap in heaven,
and sow with your flesh and receive with your spirit (Acts 7:55-60).
Those who deny the Lord
are people without hope for the next life (Mt 10:32-33).
The Lord suffered when we fell asleep,
the Lord was whipped when we were sick (1 Pet 2:24),
and the Lord went hungry when we were filled (Mt 25:41-46).
Though the Lord departed the world, His righteousness is with us,
the words of grace always dwell in us (Jn 6:68),
and the Holy Spirit helps us and guarantees this hope (Jn 14:16-17).
○ Do not deny the Lord Jesus.
Do not deny Him, even if you are afraid and ashamed of persecution,
and do not deny Him, even if your body collapses.
○ Do not ruin your eternal relationship with God.
Let’s not deny the Lord, though the world disdains Him.
Let’s walk with the Lord Jesus forever.
○ Let’s not do this only in thought but do it truly.
The body we believe in is wearing out,
but our spirits need to be renewed day by day.
※ Let’s not deny Jesus but become martyrs.
Let’s hope in the glory of the first resurrection like martyrs should.
Let’s hold to this hope as dutiful believers and become martyrs.
