He Predestined Us to Be One in Christ

God chose us to be holy and blameless
as His church. He not only redeems us,
but He gives us wisdom and understanding as gifts
so we can prepare ourselves for the end of the world.
Accordingly, the plans that God wants to accomplish
are not mysteries beyond our grasp
because we are corrupt human beings.
This is because God predestined us
to realize these mysteries as the church.
One great mystery that was shown to us
is that all things will be united in Christ
on the last day of the world.
That is, on the day when all of God’s plans are completed
– not only those who belong to the Church of Christ –
but even the physical world
will be gathered before Christ
so they can be united as one before Him.
In other words, the spiritual life of Christians
will proceed on a universal scale.
Therefore, we must clearly remember
that everything in our lives
– physical things as well as spiritual –
should all be focused on Christ.
