Judas, the Person Who Sold Jesus

(Mark 14:43-50)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is true.
He
sent the truth, and the truth is true (Jn 17:3).
There are religions and the Law in the world, and they are admirable.
You cultivate yourself and seek virtue by religion.
The world thinks you will prosper if you seek conviction.
Therefore,
countries, kings and nobles are fascinated by religion.
They say there is a paradise when you leave the body and die.
Some people believe and trust in their conscience and suffer.
These are idols in their hearts (Ezek 14:2-5).
The world has nothing which is true and no true words.
Therefore, there is no one who is righteous or holy (Rom 3:9-18).
At this time, God sent the truth, which are true words (Jn 8:45-47).
He is the unique Righteous One who appeared in the world (Jn 16:10).
Jesus fulfilled what religion could not
and set us free from what our consciences could not (Jn 8:32).
Those who are with Jesus but do not know Him
are double-minded and are like Judas Iscariot.
He kissed Jesus and also compromised with unrighteousness (2 Cor 6:14-18).
This is like the proverb, “change sides readily, change your coat readily.”
Such a person is originally a devil (Jn 6:70-71).
〇 The devil already put in Judas’ heart
the idea to sell Jesus. This is Satan (Jn 13:2).
〇 His disciples, who were fellow workers, had no idea.
But Jesus knew Judas Iscariot and said he was a devil.
〇 Religious people associate with both sides, without enemies.
But Christians have enemies – they are the devil and unrighteousness.
Jesus has an enemy – He is Satan (Mt 16:23).
※ Dear saints, let’s be one in heart.
Let’s love Jesus and love the church. Let’s love the overseer
with one heart (as he guides our spirits). Let’s be ‘a Pine, Bamboo and Rock.’
