September 8, 2019 The Will of Jesus’ Name (Matthew 1:18-25)

Sermon Outline

God
is the Father of life and power.
To give His life and power to the world,
He sent His Only Begotten Son who dwelt in His Bosom (John 1:18).
He is the Immanuel.
He is Jesus.
The name ‘Jesus’ means ‘He will save His people from their sins.’
The Son of God
fulfills the name ‘Jesus’ on earth (John 1:12).
‘Jesus’ is the name of grace, truth and life (John 14:6).
‘Logos’ refers to the Word of truth (John 1:1).
Apart from the name ‘Jesus’, we cannot be saved.
There is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, be saved from your sins (Matt 9:2)
and be saved from the Law and your conscience which condemns you (1Cor 15:55-57).
Secondly, be healed from your sicknesses (Mark 16:17-18).
Seek no other method, because His name is healing (Rom 10:9).
Thirdly, be blessed at all costs (Luke 24:50-53).
Be blessed only with the blessing of God (John 20:19).
Jesus’ name means ‘absolutely perfect salvation’ (Matt 1:21).
The Holy Spirit testifies to this even today (John 15:26).
○ By calling on Jesus’ name,
are your sins not blotted out?
Have victory over all sins through Jesus’ name!
○ Drive out demons through Jesus’ name!
Be completely free from all your sicknesses!
Heal sicknesses through Jesus’ name! Do it!
○ Jesus’ name is perfect life and power.
God has not given any other salvation.
Those who have been saved through Jesus’ name are His saints.
※ Call on Jesus’ name!
Cry out to Him with all your strength!
Jesus’ name is your salvation!
