God
loves the Son.
He
created everything for the Son
and even gave Him the authority to judge (Mt 19:28).
He divides those who believe and those who do not believe
through Jesus Christ (Mt 25:31-33)
so that He can bring believers to His heaven (Jn 14:1-3).
Our faith is not funds for a business,
but is faith to enter heaven (Jn 6:57).
Yet
even Jesus’ brothers did not believe or follow Him (Jn 7:3),
His relatives said He was out of His mind (Mk 3:21),
and neighboring villagers said He was the son of a carpenter (Jn 6:42).
Our faith
is given by God.
No one can say ‘the Lord is Christ’ except by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 12:3),
and you cannot enter heaven unless you are born by the Spirit (Jn 3:5).
If you do not listen by the Holy Spirit, these words are ridiculous (Jn 7:14-15),
and if you only listen to Moses, you cannot remove fear.
Since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, He testifies about the Lord (Jn 15:26).
○ The disciples thought
and asked that Jesus should reveal Himself to the Jews,
but Jesus avoided the Jews because His time had not come.
○ Faith is not about emotion or bodily courage.
This faith is given by God and it is His gift.
Only the Father has authority to know the times and seasons.
○ If you recognize Jesus as a coward who avoided death,
it is because you do not believe He came by God’s will.
Jesus’ death and resurrection are the commands that He received.
※ Since faith is found only in the truth, and the truth is Jesus –
everything He does is the truth
and we believe the truth.
