The Lord Resurrected in the Body, and the Disciples Loved Him in Their Bodies

(John 20:1~10)

Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
fulfills the will that He decided.
Before there were people who could
remember Him in the world,
God alone fulfilled the will that He planned from before eternity (2 Pet 3:2),
and once there were humans who could remember Him in the world,
God spoke about the will that He planned (1 Cor 2:7).
Before there was God’s word, God did not do anything (Jn 10:35)
– this is a foundational wisdom about our faith (Pro 1:7).
No matter what great signs and power someone performs, if the Bible
does not talk about them beforehand, they have nothing to do with us (Eph 5:6-7).
Prophets came before our Savior, and their prophecies (Mal 4:5-6)
laid the path beforehand, as if preparing the way for the Lord (Jn 1:23).
Therefore,
the way to verify if He really was the One to come
is first by seeing if it was written in the Bible (Mic 5:2)
and seeing if Christ and the Bible are in agreement.
Jesus Christ did not come by His own choosing.
The prophecies
spoke of the will that God planned before eternity (Ps 16:10-11).
Jesus died and rose again, as the Bible says (Jn 20:9).
○ Therefore, the Bible cannot be broken,
and it says that those who believe the word of God are gods.
Believers can gain great inspiration from the Bible.
○ The dead coming to life is not a sign to marvel at.
We should be amazed at how the Bible was fulfilled.
The will of God will certainly be fulfilled.
○ If we believe the Bible, we should certainly believe that Christ rose again,
and we should await and welcome His resurrection.
Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of the Law and the Prophets.
※ If our faith is sound, we should first return to the Bible,
see if what we believe agrees with the Bible,
and gain testimony from within us by the Holy Spirit.
