2017.06.18_God’s Choosing

We knelt in the name of Jesus who came to call sinners. But you who don’t seem to receive grace and the blood of Jesus, are still with Moses. We realized that each of us was a sinner, and before Jesus we repented, were baptized, and received the Holy Spirit in Jesus. Therefore, we believe in the Word of God. But who are you that mock the grace of Jesus like those who mock the Bible? What are you seeking? Judgment, or the First Resurrection?

As surely as I know Jesus, I abide in Him and trust Him I ask you: Who asked you to overthrow the church of Jesus Christ, and when? Who taught you to test the faith of many souls? If you had gone to the subway station and preached, rather than cause chaos in the church, many more people would have been able to return to the Lord! Instead you are driving them out of the church. Who do you think you are? How the Lord would be pleased if you had as much commitment and passion and zeal for His name. Do you believe that you hear the words ‘Love your enemies’? Will you ignore it and persecute the Lord?

I, Semuon, have already experienced the death of my honor, as surely and completely as a body that has had its head severed from it, and it is impossible to recover. I had said that I had thrown it all away, but I had hidden it away and tried to preserve it, but now it is completely dead. I even loathe my name. My face is my honor, but now I can not even raise my face.

Thanks to the zeal of some ungrateful disciples, I and my name have been killed by an ignorant and foolish crowd. My honor was glorified by the virtue of my life. But in the end my honor fell to the ground, and I can not pick it up again. Now only my soul is living and working.

My soul knows the will of God, is loved by God, and has the Holy Spirit. I have been through persecution and bullying all of my life, but now my honor has been murdered by beloved disciples and beloved saints. I am fortunate that my soul, whose honor has died, is grateful and empowered.

But the truth is that even though my spirit is lifted from my body, the truth will be borne out by my friends, and my friends will continue to testify to the truth. I want to sing the song of God’s triumph rather than of man’s victory. Therefore I will remain silent until the end. I will endure and endure.
